A reminder that there is no school this Monday, May 29. Students resume classes on Tuesday May 30, 2023.
1. K-4 Swimming Certificates
Our students have now completed all of their swimming lessons. Please watch for the swimming certificates that have been provided by the Sir Winston Churchill Pool Swim Instructors. They have been sent home throughout this week.
2. Marion Carson Run Club
Our final run club date in Friday June 2, 2023. Thank you to all who have been participating in this weekly event, and good luck to all those families who signed up for the Earn and Burn Calgary Scotiabank Marathon contest in connection to our school. We wish you good luck at this weekend's race and hope you have a wonderful time with family and friends. I will be looking out for students and families from our school on Sunday, and would love to hear about your race. Please be sure to say hello if you see me on the course.
Whether you want to walk or run, have participated thus far or not, we look forward to seeing any and all parents and students by the soccer fields starting on Friday starting at 8:55am.
3. Jump Rope for Heart
Ready, set, jump! Our Jump Rope for Heart Day was on May 23rd. Students enjoyed various jump rope activities to celebrate and engage in the day. Fundraising pages are currently open and will remain open until June 6, 2023. If you would like to donate, click the link below.

4. School Council / Parent Association AGM Meeting Minutes
Thank you to all who attended the School Council / Parent Association Annual General Meeting on May 24, 2023. Council Executive is excited to have the following executive members in place for the 2023-24 school year.
