​​Students in the Calgary Board of Education travel to school in a variety of ways, including walking, taking yellow buses or Calgary Transit or being driven by parents/guardians. Their safety is important, no matter how they get to school and home again.​​​

Before and After School Care

We have three private organizations who provide childcare for our kindergarten students. We have provided information below for your convenience.

Pre-Kindergarten Educational Services / Kindergarten Enhancement 

Pre-Kindergarten (for children 3-5 years)
Kindergarten Enhancement 
Kindergarten / Grade 1 Out of School Care

Our programs operate in a classroom on the main floor of the school and there is a direct access door outside the classroom. Kindergarten Enhancement is an on-site private program operating in a classroom within Marion Carson School. They provide programming Monday to Friday when a child is not in their regular Kindergarten class. Kindergarten students have the option to attend either part time Kindergarten Enhancement to include all regular school operating hours, or full time Kindergarten Enhancement which includes Out of School Care early morning hours and up to 6:00 p.m.
