Concerns & Complaints

We know that the success of your student is dependent on a strong partnership between families and the CBE. If you have a concern, it can usually be addressed at the classroom level. Your first step is to arrange to speak privately with your child’s teacher. If you feel your issue is still unresolved, please contact your principal. If you and the school are unable to find a resolution, please see our Concerns & Complaints​ page for additional information, including the process to contact your Area Director. ​​​​

If your child is going to be late or absent please phone the school at 403-817-3544 ext. 1 or email mckenziehighlands@cbe.ab.ca to advise of the length of absence and the reason. See more on our Attendance page.
