Complementary Course Selection

In the spring, Students in grade 6, 7, and 8 currently attending McKenzie Highlands School will make their course request selections in MyCBE / PowerSchool for the upcoming school year.  Parents are asked to review these selections with students. Parents and students can access the course requests screens for a set amount of time.  After that date students will need to talk with Mr. Banack to make changes or new requests.

Students who are transferring into McKenzie Highlands for the fall will need to submit a paper copy of their course requests. Option forms will be posted on the menu bar on the right.

To edit your student's selections:

Log into the MyCBE / PowerSchool student screen.  Select “Class Registration”

The screen below will direct you to make the request for complimentary courses for next year. Students need to select 6 credit hours of courses. Band (full year) is worth 2 credit hours, all other courses are 1 credit hour.

Select the pencil next to the green check mark or red exclamation point for each section you need to modify.

Once selections have been made, be sure to select OKAY to set them.  Please note there are multiple pages of courses to select from – use the blue links at the bottom of the page to navigate to the next pages.

Once you have 4 green check marks on the main page, select submit.  If you have not selected the full 6 hours you will be directed back to the selection pages to complete your choices.
