Last Message from Mrs. Goldenberg

Dear parents and guardians,

It is so hard to believe this is my last week at Midnapore School. Many thoughts come to mind as I reflect on these last six months. I have felt so lucky working side by side with an amazing community of students, staff and families. At the beginning of my acting principal role, I introduced the story “The Golden Rule”. Students throughout these months have demonstrated the virtue of “Treating others the way you want to be treated”. It is so wonderful to see kindness and generosity exhibited throughout each and every day. You should all be proud of your hard working children! In classrooms and out on the playground, your children show that they care for others. They are thoughtful, kind and compassionate human beings!

I have enjoyed working with many of you these past few months in a variety of ways including our school council and parent society executives. Thank you for your kindness and understanding as we began the year with yet another new acting principal. It has also been an amazing experience to be working alongside our Midnapore teachers and support staff. Thank you for all your support.

This month we are highlighting the Lunar New Year and the school community has been involved in so many creative and exciting activities and celebrations. The students and staff throughout the entire school have been involved in many projects that highlight the Year of the Rabbit symbolizing longevity, peace, and prosperity. My wish for all of you is long life, peace in our world and much prosperity.

On Monday, January 30, please welcome Mr. Greg Bennett as your new acting principal. He is very excited to join the incredible staff of Midnapore School.

Warmly,
Sherry
