Personal Belongings

We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items students bring to school.

Cellphones

Cell phones are allowed at NMHS with some exceptions, including during exams, quizzes, assemblies, guest speakers, etc.

Students must exercise courtesy, respect, and good judgment when using cell phones so as to not interfere with the learning educational environment.

As a courtesy to office staff, students are asked to turn off their cell phones when in the main office. If they are in the office for disciplinary reasons, they will be asked to turn off and turn in their phone.

Skateboards, Rollerblades and Scooters

These items are not allowed on school property.

Spinner and Fidget Toys

Spinner and fidget toys are not allowed in classrooms or the Learning Commons as their use interferes with your learning and the learning of others. These types of toys must be put away during class time and cannot be out in the open or shared with others individuals.
