End of October Update

It is hard to believe that we are already at the end of October.  Halloween at school will look different this year.  Unfortunately, to maintain our cohorts and guidelines, we have had to cancel our usual Halloween activities.  Individual classes and teachers may choose to do something.  Please reach out to your child's teachers if you have questions about that.  Reminder that Friday, October 30 is a PD Day.

As has already been communicated, we have had our first positive case of COVID-19.  Thankfully, we have worked hard to maintain cohorts and COVID guidelines.  Due to these processes, we were able to clearly identify the close contacts.  Those students and staff identified were able to quickly pivot to online learning during their time of required precautionary isolation.  As processes and procedures are updated by AHS and then CBE, we will also continue to update our processes.  We appreciate the support of families in reinforcing the importance of wearing a mask and physical distancing.
