Lunch Supervision

The Calgary Board of Education provides students with the option to stay at school for lunch. Lunch Supervision is offered to all students in Grades 1- 6 and in our full-day kindergarten programs for an annual fee. Please visit our Lunch Supervision page for information.

We Are Nut-Aware & Litter-Free

Please try to ensure the lunches and snacks you pack are nut free and in re-usable containers! To learn more about allergies visit our Illness & Medical page.

Don't Forget the Utensils

Lunchroom Supervisors no longer provide plastic spoons and/or forks for students. Please pack them or remind your children when packing their lunches not to forget utensils as part of their routine. Thank you for helping Olympic Heights to be more environmentally friendly!

Dress For The Weather

Calgary weather is unpredictable please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for colder temperatures. As long as the temperature is above -20C we are outside for the lunch recess.

Also many of our students are requiring extra food at lunch time and needing snacks. Please check in with your child and pack extra if needed. Snack supplies in the office are very limited and cannot always be relied on. Thank you for your help.

Fun Lunches

Our fun lunches give our students an opportunity to eat lunch, socialize with their friends at school and take part in special activities. Please visit www.healthyhunger.com to get started.

The deadline for orders and payments is 5 days prior to each event. No changes can be made online after cut-off date. Orders remaining unpaid at cut off dates will be cancelled and students will not receive the food/treat item on the scheduled event. Please do not hand payments to teachers; it is the responsibility of the parent to make sure payments are handed to admin office before the payment deadline.

Join our amazing committee! Anyone interested in further information, or to shadow current experienced members, please email funlunch@ohsparent.com.

Thank you for your support!
