| How Is My Child Doing In School?
We know it is important for parents/guardians to understand how their children are doing in school. The report card is one component in communicating student learning. Another component of communication comes at conferences. The CBE has produced some new resources related to the report card for parents to help them learn more about their child’s learning. The link below will take you to the page on our website where these resources live. Of particular interest will be the document titled “How Is My Child Doing in School?” If you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me at the school. Our next round of conferences are scheduled for Thursday, November 21 & Friday, November 22. Please watch for a message inviting you to book your conferences online. Photo retake day is Tuesday. If you would like your child to have a retake, please return the original photo day proof or a handwritten note to allow your child to return to the camera. Our first rotation of Power Hour begins on Thursday, November 7th. We are very excited to see all of this learning in action. Our grade 2 team has been preparing for our Remembrance Day assembly. The assembly will be held Friday, November 8 at 10:30. All families are welcome to attend this assembly. We are excited to host Calgary Opera performance of Sleeping Beauty on November 12 @ 9:30 am.
