First Day of Classes

Our first day of classes is September 1, 2022 and the school office is open to parents on August 30, 2022

Kindergarten

Kindergarten classes begin on  September 1, 2022

We will be having a staggered entry for our Kindergarten students.

September 1 & 6 , 2022

AM Students:  Last names         A - K      8:30 — 9:30 am
                                                     L - Z      9:45 — 10:45 am
PM Students:   Last names        A - J      11:45 am — 12:45 pm
                                                     K - Z      1:00 — 2:00 pm

There is no school for Kindergarten students on Friday, September 2, 2022.

Kindergarten regular schedule begins Wednesday, September 7, 2022.

Monday – Thursday dismissal time is 2:30 PM
(Lunch hour will be: 11:35 AM - 12:27 PM)
Friday start time is 8:00 AM
Friday dismissal time is 12:00 PM

AM Kindergarten
Monday – Thursday start time is 8:00 AM
Monday – Thursday dismissal time is 10:50 AM

PM Kindergarten

School Supplies

Student supplies are provided by the school for children in kindergarten through grade 4. Students will also need a pair of indoor shoes to leave at school,  backpack, water bottle, daily snack and lunch (if the student is remaining at school during the noon hour).

Lunch Supervision 

Students who will stay at school during the noon hour can be registered in the Lunch Supervision Program at www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe

​​Fees and Waivers

School fees will be charged to families starting in October. Online fee payment is the simplest and most convenient way to pay school fees. Parents can use their online account to pay fees or apply for a waiver at: www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe.

​Do You Have a MyCBE Account? Have You Added Your Child(ren) To the Account?

Parents / Legal Guardians / Independent Students who have not already done so, must create a MyCBE account and add their child(ren) to the account to:

  • access your child’s program information (e.g., course assessments, daily attendance record, report card)
  • view your child’s learning using Brightspace by D2L
  • pay fees and request waivers
  • register for transportation and lunch ​supervision
  • book parent-teacher conferences
  • submit online school forms (required for 2022-23 school year)

You will need your email address on file at the school as well as your child’s CBE ID, which can be found on the:

  • SchoolEngage student profile, for families that registered their child using SchoolEngage.

​​​​Yellow School Bus Tra​nsportation

Yellow school bus routes for the 2022-23 school year are created o​ver the summer and based on the addresses submitted before the pre-registration deadline in June. Transportation continues to accept registrations after the deadline; however, students are added to the closest existing stop with available space. Processing times could be up to six weeks at the beginning of the school year due to volume.

Your bus stop location and time will be available in your MyCBE account by mid-August.

Conditional riders can also register using MyCBE. Applications will be considered after eligible riders registrations have been processed.
