Hello Scenic Acres Families, Some very good news for Scenic Acres School: "The Calgary Board of Education (CBE) would like to inform you of our work to balance enrolment at schools in northwest Calgary. We will make a grade configuration change to Scenic Acres school. This change will allow more students in your community to attend school closer to home. Effective for the 2023-24 school year, the following changes will be implemented: ▪ Scenic Acres School will change from a kindergarten to Grade 4 school to a kindergarten to Grade 5 school in the 2023-24 school year." I'm to assume that this change will bring the school up to CBE preference capacity levels and it will remain open moving forward. Amazing news! Thank you! Bill Garner, Principal
