Thank You and Farewell

Last week was an emotional one for me, I was so honoured with the amazing celebration that each grade group put together for me; speeches, funny stories, songs from the choir, cards, posters and so much more shared from our Sherwood Students. While it is very hard to be leaving, my heart is full with the kind words and actions of these incredible students. Sherwood students and staff are doing some incredible work and I am proud to have been a part of this story. Tonight I had the honour to have one last meeting with the Sherwood School Council and Parent Society, the ongoing supports for Sherwood have made a difference for students and staff alike. Sherwood is like a family with a history that spans back generations, thank you for inviting me in to be a part of this family. Saying goodbye is never easy, so instead I say farewell as you never know where our paths will cross again. Thank you Sherwood for all of the memories and learning along the way. I know you will do great things!
