COVID-19 Notices

December 22, 2020

On December 21, we were informed that an individual in Mrs. Boulanger’s grade 4 class in room 21 at Simons Valley School has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual rides on Bus A.

We believe the dates of exposure were December 16, 17 and 18. If your child attended Mrs. Boulanger’s class or rode on Bus A on any of those dates, your child is required to isolate until at least January 2 (based on exposure on December 18). For Mrs. Boulanger’s class, this is an extension of the isolation dates communicated previously.

Other household members are not required to isolate unless they are displaying  symptoms consistent with COVID-19.  If you or others in your home have any of these symptoms, please complete the online Alberta Health Services (AHS) COVID-19 self-assessment or call Health Link at 811.

Alberta has imposed stronger health restrictions province-wide as of Dec. 13. More information about these restrictions can be found on the AHS website.
