First Day of Classes
Our first day of classes is Thursday, Aug. 31, 2023 and the school office is open to parents by 8:15. If parents have questions or concerns prior to the start of the 2023-2024 school year, the office is open for parents on:
- August 28 - 30 9 AM - 4 PM
School Start & End Times
Our bell times are 9:10 AM to 3:50 PM Monday to Thursday and from 9:10 AM to 1:30 PM on Friday.
Grade 7-9 students do not have a supply fee this year. The following is a list of supplies that would be beneficial to begin the year with. Please note that the first week students are in school Thursday to Friday so if they do not have some of the supplies until the following week they will be still be able to be a part of all learning. Please let your HR teacher know if you have any questions or concerns after your child has met with your teacher that first week.
Grade 7-9 General Supplies List
- lined paper with holes
- duo-tang or binders (whichever works best for your childs' organization)
- pencil crayons
- pencil sharpener
- glue sticks
- pencil case
- calculator (scientific)
- *a geometry set will be needed eventually but could wait until later in the fall
PLEASE NOTE THAT ARTS-CENTRED LEARNING STUDENTS HAVE A 75$ FEE-NO OTHER ART SUPPLIES ARE NECESSARY TO PURCHASE
For all students, families are to provide clean athletic PE shoes, any discretionary supplies, backpacks, lunch, and snacks.

Students are to supply their own lunch for the school year. As well, students in Grades 5, 6 and 7 will not be allowed off campus during the lunch break (12:21 AM to 1:16 PM). More information on our Lunch Supervision page.
Information regarding assigned teachers will be available in late-August as the hiring process for teaching vacancies continues for both temporary and vacant positions. It is anticipated that these processes will completed by mid-August.
