June 2021 Message
Good Morning Sir Winston Churchill School Community,

As we come to the end of the 2020 – 2021 School Year, I would be remiss if I didn’t take this opportunity to extend my gratitude to members of our school community. This past year has been rife with challenges that we have collectively worked together to overcome. Students, your cooperation, optimism and ability to adapt to changing circumstances was remarkable and greatly appreciated – well done and thank you! I want to also thank our families for their support, encouragement and understanding. There were certainly some stressful times and your consideration and patience was greatly appreciated. While there were frustrations, we were bound by common purpose – to keep everyone safe and to provide quality teaching and learning. While we are not perfect we can take some comfort in the fact that we want the same thing.  Finally, I want to thank our staff. Our Facility Operators were tasked to maintain a clean, safe and functional working environment. Our Support and Office Staff maintained our routines as near to “normal” as possible given the situation. Our teaching faculty who navigated the “ups and downs” of online instruction and in person learning under less than ideal circumstances. I want to thank you all on behalf of our Admin Team. We are truly fortunate to work with such an exceptional school community – thank you one and all.

We are planning for, and hoping for a near to “normal” school start – up for the 2021 – 2022 school year. School Opening information is currently on our school website.  We will provide you updates and information as to September start-up sometime in August. In the interim, we wish you all a relaxing and safe summer. We are looking forward to better days ahead.

Sincerely, the Administration of Sir Winston Churchill High School

Ms. Tammy Cave Assistant Principal
