School Telephone Use

Ensure your child has arranged any after school plans with you before coming to school, as telephones are for school business only. Students may use the phone in case of emergency. For safety reasons we are not allowed to confirm the enrollment of a child at our school over the telephone.

This becomes very difficult when parents phone to ask us to pass along messages, as we cannot always identify the caller. If your child needs to go to a location other than home at dismissal time, make these arrangements ahead of time and if necessary with the classroom teacher to confirm that arrangements are safe and approved by you.

School Profile

Our school profile includes a dynamic map with our designation area and walk zone.

Contact Information Updates

Please notify the school office immediately with any changes of address, telephone numbers (home, business and/or cell), email address or emergency contact numbers. It is critical that we have a current record of contact information on file so we can reach you or other emergency contacts. Please also be sure to provide us with a current copy of any custody agreements.

Concerns & Complaints

We know that the success of your student is dependent on a strong partnership between families and the CBE. If you have a concern, it can usually be addressed at the classroom level. Your first step is to arrange to speak privately with your child’s teacher. If you feel your issue is still unresolved, please contact your principal. If you and the school are unable to find a resolution, please see our Concerns & Complaints page for additional information, including the process to contact your Area Director.
