| Dear Sunalta Students and Parents, It was a successful re-entry week at Sunalta School for our in-person students. We are so happy to have your child(ren) back with us! Thank you for completing the self-screening assessment with your child before sending them to school every day. Each week we will send you updates and information to keep you informed about our exciting school plans. Daily Soft Entry – From 8:30am-8:40am your child(ren) can enter their designated door with their mask on and go directly to their classroom. Instruction begins promptly at 8:40am. Division 1 students use the front door (closest to the street) and Division 2 students use the compound door (closest to the playground). Out-of-school care students will be escorted to their classroom. Please do not drop your children off in the staff parking lot. We dismiss at 3:21pm Monday-Thursday and 12:21pm on Fridays. Lunchroom – we have a private lunchroom program that is also our out-of-school care. The letter and enrollment forms are on our Back to School Sunalta page. Lunchroom begins on Monday. If your child(ren) are going home for lunch please let the office know sunalta@cbe.ab.ca Reminders: - Demographic paper copy went home today. Please make changes and return. It is important that you provide us with a minimum of two phone numbers that we can always contact.
Hub/Staffing: Staffing for the 2020-2021 year is still in progress. We will be able to provide you with more information by the end of next week at the very latest. Thank you for your understanding. There was a strong interest in the Hub online learning and we are being flexible in considering how to support all Sunalta students.
