Apprendre à s’élever ~ Learning to Soar #SundanceStrong #TousEnsemble “I define connection as the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they drive sustenance and strength from the relationship.” – Brené Brown
What another wonderful week of holiday fun as we bring 2022 to an end here at Sundance School. Whether it was dressing in red & white for candy cane day, snuggling in our favourite holiday PJs or sporting our festive hats and sweaters, the students were full of excitement and holiday joy. Mme Claire and Mme Sylvie led our students and parents in singing holiday songs. We enjoyed watching our very talented grade 5 and 6 students using instruments to follow the holiday beats.
The winter break is here and we would like to thank the school community who generously donated to the Mayor’s Food Bank Drive in December and for making a difference in the lives of others. Thank you for your continued support, generosity, and kindness. See link below to see our grade 4 students creating a domino of all the cereal boxes collected during our Food Bank - Battle of Cereal event. Cereal Box Domino
I could not have ended my career in a more amazing place than here at Sundance School and all of you have made my time here incredibly special. I am leaving with so many great memories and have learned so much from this community of people who truly care about each other. I am richer for the new relationships I have made. Sundance is in great hands with Mme Melanie and the Sundance Team. Thank you for supporting and laughing with me, as well as having conversations that challenged and helped me be a better leader.
Gratefully yoursMme Micheline Huber
