Student Leadership

To develop student understanding of themselves as “Leaders,” we are continuing our commitment to The “Leader in Me” Program. The following 8 Habits guide and direct all of our work together. These habits are reflected in the information and activities included in your child’s agenda.

The 8 Habits of Happy and Effective Learners:

1. Be Proactive – You’re in charge
2. Begin with the End in Mind – Have a vision
3. Put first things first – Prioritize
4. Think Win-Win Everyone can win
5. Seek First to understand, then to be understood – Listen before you talk
6. Synergize – Together is better
7. Sharpen the Saw – Balance feels best
8. Find Your Voice – Inspire others to find theirs
