| Hello Tom Baines Families,
As this school year comes to an end, we just want to send a special thank you for supporting us with a successful year. I was excited when I began as Principal here one year ago, and this year has exceeded my expectations. I am amazed with the staff, students and families that call Tom Baines home. Every day was an adventure and I'm excited to see what the next year brings. But before that, we are all ready for a restful and enjoyable summer. I hope you all find time to spend with family and friends. We want to say thank you and goodbye to some of our teachers as they move into retirement or other opportunities. Mrs. Masse, Ms. Ford, Ms. Chow, Ms. Anderson and Ms. Veurink have new adventures waiting for them in the Fall. We are also saying goodbye to some support staff, Mrs. West, Mrs. Lam, Mrs. Bhattia and Ms. Jama. With goodbyes, come welcomes. We are excited to have new teachers and support staff join us next year. We welcome Mr. Dubray, Mr. Slechta, Mrs. Morhart, Ms. Dey, Mrs. Lin and Ms. Ruuska to our teaching staff. We also welcome Mrs. O'Shaughnessy, Mrs. Shakeel, Ms. Sabir and Mrs. Hsueh to our support staff team. We are excited for the big adventures ahead! Thank you again for a great year. For those families moving on from Tom Baines, you will be missed! We are excited to welcome all returning and new students on August 31.
