Have a Safe & Restful Summer

This has been a year like no other school year. Our staff and students have moved online back to in-person, back and forth many times this year. I believe it has been the most challenging year in decades.

Parents, teachers and many students are wondering what they may have missed in their learning opportunities this year. I would suggest that we cannot “worry" about this however; we will look at ways to help close learning gaps and meeting students where they are at in their learning progression. This will be a challenge that we will address in September. We all hope that the next school year will be a better year, a safer year and a much happier year for everyone involved.

Our hope for the students is to have a “near normal" summer with lots of outdoors time, time with friends and family and a reduction in screen time. We want everyone to stay safe and stay healthy over the summer.

Please keep checking the school's website for any additional information regarding our start up on September 1st, 2021. We will be taking our direction from Alberta Education, Alberta Health Services and the Calgary Board of Education regarding what school start up will look like regarding Covid protocols and safety measures.

All our best to the grade 9 students moving on to high School and those families moving away from our designated communities. We look forward to having all 840 students starting school on September 1st, 2021.

We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe summer.
