Farewell from Mr. Petrowitsch

Dear Parents & Guardians,

It is with mixed emotions that I write this message. I am retiring from the Calgary Board of Education after a rewarding 42 year career. My last day will be June 30th, 2022.  I have been the Principal at Tom Baines School since April 2009. I have truly enjoyed getting to know the many families, children and now young adults. I have been very fortunate to work with such supportive, generous and kind parents over the last 13 years. The students have been a joy to work with and get to know on a personal level. Thank you for sharing your wonderful children with me over the years. The Tom Baines staff are amazing and will continue to provide an outstanding learning experience for your children moving forward.  I look forward to helping and supporting your new Principal, Mr. Derek Siakaluk with the transition.

Again thank you for all your support and understanding.
