Important September Events

Dear Tom Baines Families,

Our school year is well underway and we are excited for a few upcoming events.

1) School Council - our first meeting is on Monday, September 19 at 7:00 pm in person at our Learning Commons. You are encouraged to attend in person, however there will also be an opportunity to join online using this Teams link. Click here to join the meeting

2) Meet the Teacher is on Thursday, September 22 from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. Remember that families have assigned times to attend. Please only come during your assigned times as that will alleviate crowding and allow teachers to meet and greet with more parents.

6:00 - 6:30 pm - families with last names A-I

6:30 - 7:00 pm - families with last names J-O

7:00 - 7:30 pm - families with last names P-Z

3) There is no school for students on September 23 and 30. September 23 is a professional learning day for teachers and September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Teachers will be providing learning opportunities for students around this important day the week of September 26.

We are looking forward to having you in the building and working alongside you this school year.

Derek Siakaluk, Principal
