Message From Administration

Dear William Roper Hull School Families and Caregivers,

As we all know by now, the past few weeks have seen unprecedented events effect our daily lives to an extent never before seen in our lifetimes. The closure of classes to students was a major decision made by the provincial government to help flatten the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic, and we know that this has and will continue to have a major impact for all of the students and families we serve.

We want you to know that the teaching and counselling staff at William Roper Hull School miss the kids dearly. We want you as caregivers to know that as a school we will do everything we are able to do to support your children going forward.

When staff returns from Spring Break, we will hit the ground running and be in touch as soon as possible with plans, strategies and next steps.

You are sure to have many questions, as do we all. The situation worldwide, and certainly in our city, is changing rapidly. Please have a look at the resources attached to this message, which will hopefully provide some ideas for speaking with your children and managing anxiety during these uncertain times.

Our thoughts are with all of you. Please take good care, stay safe, and continue to support one another.

Sincerely,

Joe Sturgeon, Principal

Denise Manderson, Program Director

Leanne Murphy, Assistant Principal
