Personal Belongings

Backpacks & Purses

There is time for students to lock their personal items in their lockers. Students should bring their learning materials to each class. We respectfully request that student backpacks and purses be kept in their lockers.

Skateboards, Scooters, Rollerblades & Bikes

We recognize that students may use skateboards, scooters, rollerblades and bikes as a mode of transportation to and from school. As per CBE policy, their use is prohibited on school property, including adjacent sidewalks. Bikes must be safely secured in the school bike racks. Skateboards, scooters, and rollerblades must be stored in lockers.

Gym Clothes

All students are required to change for physical education classes and are encouraged to wear school issued gym strip (shorts and T-shirts). Additional gym strip items may be purchased through the P.E. office. For safety reasons, students are required to have proper footwear, specifically running shoes that can be tied up. Your name should be on your T-shirt, shorts and runners. If you lose something chances are greater of having it returned if your name is on it.

Illegal Substances & Other Items

Anything a student cannot legally buy on their own should not come to school with them. Examples include alcohol, e-cigarettes, drugs, tobacco, etc. This includes items that could be considered weapons. These items have no place in school and do not contribute to the learning environment.
