We will have two separate lunch times this year:

Lunch B: 12:00pm to 12:45pm

Each classroom teacher will communicate which lunch they are assigned to in August.

School Supplies

We provide all students their day-to-day in class school supplies. There supplies are covered by the school fees.  Families will be responsible to send their children to school daily with a backpack, water bottle, lunch and snack.

Noon Supervision

For those families that choose to pay for their child to stay for lunch, our lunch room supervisors and teachers provide supervision over the lunch hour. There will be a Noon Supervision fee for students that stay, which can be paid online at MyCBE / PowerSchool. As well, an Incidental Activity fee will be charged that can be paid here at Abbeydale School.

Assigned Teachers

Teachers will communicate with parents sometime between August 12 - August 16. Teachers will share information about your child's daily schedule, what door will be used for drop off and pick up, and information regarding what our child needs to bring to school each day.

On August 17, please bring your child to their designated door.  If you are unsure of what door to bring your child to, please come to the front entrance for guidance.

Registration Information

Please visit our How to Register page for all registration details and registration forms.

Do You Have a MyCBE / PowerSchool Parent Account?

Parents who have not already done so, must create an account in MyCBE / PowerSchool to:

  • Pay fees or apply for a waiver

  • Register for transportation and lunch supervision

  • View student progress

To create a new account, go to www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe and click on Create Parent Account. You will need to have your child(ren)’s CBE Student ID Number and use your email on file at the school.

Fees and Waivers

School fees will be charged to families starting in October. Online fee payment is the simplest and most convenient way to pay school fees. Parents can use their online account to pay fees or apply for a waiver at: www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe.

You can find more information on the CBE school fees and waivers page.

Yellow School Bus Transportation

Yellow school bus routes for the 2021-22 school year are created over the summer and based on the addresses submitted before the pre-registration deadline in June. Transportation continues to accept registrations after the deadline; however, students are added to the closest existing stop with available space. Processing times could be up to six weeks at the beginning of the school year due to volume.

More information about 2021-22 transportation service levels and proposed fees are posted on the CBE website.

Your bus stop location and time will be available in your MyCBE / PowerSchool account by mid-August.

Conditional riders can also register using MyCBE / PowerSchool. Applications will be considered after eligible riders registrations have been processed.

Learn more about transportation on the CBE website.
