Playground Project

Hello Acadia Families, 

The Playground Committee is super excited to share the NEW Playground Design.  This design was created from student, teacher and committee feedback; as well as guidance from the experts at Park 'n Play.  

Some of the New Playground highlights are:

  • rubber surfacing
  • inclusive accessibility
  • high focus on the flow of the equipment to maximize play
  • equipment for ages 5-12 ranging in all levels physical activity
  • equipment is customized to our circle of courage colors

How can you help?

This project has an estimated cost of $295,000 and the Acadia School Community Playground Committee is proud to share it has raised $202,983.71 to date through grants, casino money and fundraising initiatives. We still have a ways to go to raise the remaining $92,000!!
