Student Showcase

The Grade 7 Leadership class completed many activities to support Orange Shirt Day. Students created and delivered a variety of announcements: acknowledgement of the land, what Orange Shirt Day is, when to wear orange, t-shirt design competition, and the winner of the design competition on Orange Shirt Day.  They also made Posters that acknowledged the land, explained the purpose of Orange Shirt Day, and promoted orange Shirt Day. They held a T-shirt Design Competition: Students submitted t-shirt designs and there were winners selected from each Grade and a final 1st place winner was selected across all three grades.

The winner was a Grade 8 student and we would like to share a photo of the the 1st place winner's T-Shirt Design.
