Fun Lunch
Hello Families!
The A.E. Cross School Council and Parents' Association is pleased to be offering fun lunches again this year! Popular with many of our students, the program offers an opportunity for students to have a ‘fun’ lunch once a month and also generates a small profit to be used to fund school initiatives through School Council/AECPA. The lunches will be managed through Healthy Hunger, which many of you will be familiar with from elementary school. If you have an account already, you can use the same one. If not, please follow this link to register: https://healthyhunger.ca
What’s different during COVID-19? Healthy Hunger has taken special precautions under its new “Safe Lunch Program" to help limit exposure to COVID-19; vendors must pass Healthy Hunger's COVID-19 protocols in order to be an approved vendors and all delivery drivers are required to pass a daily health check. Teachers will hand out the lunches during period 3 (right before lunch) since the CBE does not permit volunteers in the school at this time.
How to Order? All instructions are provided on https://healthyhunger.ca. You can use an existing account if you have one. If not, you can register on the website. NOTE: When ordering lunches, you must choose your child's homeroom teacher (they now eat in their homeroom).
