A large number of students are involved in our band program. In addition to our own concerts, there are also performances at various locations throughout the year.

What’s Happening? 

In past years, we have the Winter and Spring concerts, Assemblies, Grade 8 & 9 Band Camp and Jazz Band Camp, and the Alberta International Band Festival. Students also have the opportunity to hear professional musicians perform throughout the year through workshops and clinics. At this time these events are postponed.

The A.E. Cross Music Parents Association (AECMPA) is a non-profit organization that believes strongly in the value of music education. Our main purpose is to provide financial and volunteer support for the music program at A.E. Cross School. Through these efforts, we are committed to supporting education that makes music relevant for all students. We welcome all parents to attend our meetings.
