Engaging on School Budgets and School Fees

Each spring, our school prepares a school budget for the upcoming school year and sets school fees for some activities and services. As we prepare the school budget, engaging with staff, parents and students is an important part of the process.

Watch for news and information on our website and in emails sent through SchoolMessenger. Another great way to keep informed is by attending our school council meetings.

In addition to news stories, we'll post information about upcoming engagement opportunities on this page. We'll also share feedback gathered at meetings and through online surveys on this page.

If you have any questions, please contact the principal.

Learn and Share | CBE and School Budget and School Fees Information and Online Engagement

We know we make better decisions to support student learning when we build understanding and work together. That’s why we’ll be sharing information about the CBE budget and how we develop our own school budget and establish school fees for some services and activities through an upcoming online engagement opportunity.

During this online engagement opportunity, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn
  • Where funding for the CBE comes from and how it is spent
  • About the Resource Allocation Method (RAM) used to fund schools
  • How we estimate, then finalize, RAM for our school
  • How we establish school fees for some activities and services
  • Participate
    • Share your perspectives on school budget and school fees
    • Active online engagement will be open until June 15..

Please visit this link to share your thoughts.
