There are many ways you can contribute to our school’s success, and make a difference for our school and our students. In our school, this can include providing in-kind donations, contributing cash and lending expertise and technical knowledge. Connect with our principal on what may be appropriate. For more information on ways to give to CBE, visit Donate on the CBE website.

Fundraisers & Donations

Altadore School’s Direct Donation Campaign is Underway

Here’s the latest update on Altadore School’s 6th Annual Direct Donation Campaign. We are moving toward our participation goal of 75% of our families contributing (whatever the amount) and we still have more work to do! So far, 71 families (28%) have contributed.

Thank you to all who have donated thus far. For those who haven’t, there’s still time! To donate online through Canada Helps click here: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/altadore-elementary-school-parents-association/direct-donation-20202021

For more information on the direct donation campaign and how the funds are used to enrich your child’s education, please reach out to Katie Morgan (Fundraising Coordinator).

Partnership with COBS Bread Marda Loop

Did you know Altadore School has a partnership with COBS Bread Marda Loop? When you are shopping at that location, please mention you are affiliated with Altadore School before you pay. COBS employees will log your purchase and, as a community partner, will donate 5% of the bill back to our school. Shop for quality local products and support your school at the same time!

Food Bank Totals

Thank you to everyone who donated food and/or money to the Grade 5/6 Food Bank fundraiser in December. We have received our totals from the Calgary Food Bank: we collected 2095 lbs of food and $2097. Wow! For a school of our size, these numbers are even more impressive. Thank you so much for your generosity and support of this fundraiser.
