Traffic Concerns
Traffic volumes and congestion in the area of the school pose a significant safety concern. Each year there are many parents who report close calls and dangerous driving outside the school. As part of a caring school community we are all responsible for child safety. Our children are too important to take chances.
The bus zone and the handicap parking zone on the south side of the school are marked by city signs as well as orange cones. It is essential to respect these zones as they are used every day, both before and after school. There is a 30 km/hr speed limit around the school from 7:30 am - 9:00 PM.
Parents and caregivers must not use the staff parking lot to drop off children at any time.
