Traffic Safety

Ensuring our students get to school safely is everyone’s responsibility. Please be mindful of crosswalks, parking rules and speed limits when you are near our schools, especially during the morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal times.

Parking & Drop-Off

Drop off and Pick- Up of Students

Please help us ensure the safety of our students by complying with the following requests:

  • Please DO NOT use the “school parking lot” to drop off or pick up students in order to avoid a potentially dangerous situation.
  • Please ensure you stop a minimum of 15 feet away from the crosswalks so other motorists are able to clearly see students when they cross the street.

Parking Lot

Because of our smaller staff size, the parking lot is now available for volunteer parking. If you are coming to volunteer at the school, you can park in the middle section of the parking lot. For safety reasons, DO NOT use the parking lot to drop-off or pick-up children.

Student Safety

Thank you for using the crosswalk when dropping children off at school in the morning. This sets a great example for our students. Also, for the safety of your children, please ensure that you are properly parked and your child(ren) safely exit the car on the sidewalk side. If you are also exiting the vehicle, please ensure that you check for buses and other vehicles before opening the car door. With this added awareness, we can ensure that all the students arrive at school safely, and in a timely manner. Thank you for your cooperation.

A reminder to everyone that the playground is supervised during the following times: 8:05 – 8:20 AM 11:45 – 12:15 PM.
