We would love to have you at our school!

To register a student, please follow the Registration instructions outlined on the CBE website.

Registration at Calgary Board of Education (CBE) schools is not determined on a first come, first served basis. Registration and admission to schools in CBE is governed by the Education Act and Administrative Regulation 6090 | Child and Student Registration and Admission.

Kindergarten

Welcome to Andrew Sibbald School.  We serve students and families from Lake Bonavista and Lake Bonavista Downs. Once your registration has been processed by our school office, you will receive a confirmation email. We are not a lottery school.  We are a school with an open designation which means should we have space and resources, we may be able to accept students from out of our designated area.  These decisions are made in the late spring and require superintendent approval.  Please see this document for more information.

We expect to offer Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday full day Kindergarten programming with specified Fridays for the 2023-2024 school year.  This is our current configuration and is subject to change from year to year.

We have a Kindergarten Orientation scheduled for May 25, 2023 at 6:00pm in our main gym.  Students and families that are registered in our Kindergarten program are welcome to attend.  We are excited to meet you and welcome you to our school community!
