| Hello Annie Foote Families, Thank you for helping us with another successful start to an exciting school year! As usual we had a busy start to the school year but it is wonderful having students in classrooms busily learning and improving each day. We have had an outstanding first term with many opportunities for our students to demonstrate their learning and even have some fun! It was terrific to see the number of parents and students who participated in our recent Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences held virtually during November. We hope that parents have had a chance to review their student’s progress through Term 1 and discuss any concerns with teachers. I encourage all parents to stay connected with the school as we know that your involvement has a positive impact on student learning and social well-being. Our next round of Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences is scheduled for March 10th and 11th, following first semester report cards being made available during the first week of February. Wishing students, parents, and staff a restful and rejuvenating Winter Break. I want to thank all of you for the contributions you make to support the success of your students. They have worked hard this semester and deserve a well-earned break! Our first day of school in the New Year will be on Tuesday, January 4th starting at the regular school time.
