Hours of Instruction

We have half-day Kindergarten at our school. There is early dismissal on Fridays, with AM and PM attending alternating Fridays. For more details on our hours and calendar, please view our Contact Us page, and follow our online Calendar.

School Supplies

No supplies are required with the exception of the list below:

• School Shoes - Indoor running shoes that the child can put on by themselves and can be left in the classroom
• Backpack - One that is large enough to carry notices, snack and book
• Snack - Two small healthy snacks every day
• Lunch - Bring a lunch that does not need to be heated if attending the Lunch Program.
• Agenda - Your child will bring home an agenda everyday (provided by the school). Check it for important messages.

Please label your child’s supplies with their name.

Dress for the Weather

Our classes go outdoors for activities and recess so please make sure that your child is dressed for the weather when they come to school.

Communication & Concerns

Report cards dates and meeting dates with the teachers are listed in our Calendar. Parents/guardians will have time to discuss school work and learning with teachers during Parent Teacher Conferences. We encourage the participation of children in conferences to share work and set goals for the future.

Contact your child’s teacher first if you have any questions or concerns about your child’s education. The best times are right before school starts or after dismissal. Call the school at 403-777-6680 and we will be happy to help you make an appointment.

Most parent information is sent through notices and regular updates on our school website.  Check your child’s backpack daily and our website weekly.

You may also speak to us by phoning the office at 403-777-6680 ext. 0. The office is open on regular school days and is closed for the summer and on statutory holidays. The office opens a few days before school starts in September.
