Cafeteria & Menu

Cafeteria

The cafeteria space is open and supervised during the lunch break only for students who pay the fee. Students are expected to show courtesy by cleaning up their own eating area. There are no food sales.

Food and Beverage Policy

Annie Gale School students are expected to make healthy food choices. Good nutrition supports strong learning. To that end, no junk food, or foods high in sugar or caffeine are permitted on school grounds.

Foods or beverages that are NOT permitted includes but is not limited to:

  • Cheezies®;
  • chocolate bars
  • coffee
  • energy drinks
  • fast food (MacDonald’s, Wendy’s, A&W, etc.)
  • iced cappuccino
  • Pixy Stix®
  • pop
  • potato chips or
  • Slurpee®

Students who choose to bring these items onto school grounds will be directed to leave the school grounds or throw the item(s) in the garbage. We encourage all of our students to make healthy food choices when off school grounds too. Parent/Guardians are asked to respect and support this policy.

Allergies

Nut allergies are present in our school as are other food allergies. We are an ”allergy aware” school. Keeping students and staff from a variety of allergens is a shared responsibility of students, staff and parents. Learn more about allergies on our Illness & Medical page.
