One way parents/guardians can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on our school’s parent society. Parent societies are a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council. More information can be found in our CBE Administrative Regulation 5001 – School Councils and School/Parent Societies.

Parent Society

Our Parent Society is Known As  Parents Encouraging Success Association - AGJHS

The Association also supports the school by serving as a link between the school, the home, and the community. The meetings are held the third Monday of the month right after the school council meetings which start at 6 PM. This group serves as a sounding board for parent/guardian opinion regarding the school and its programs and becomes actively involved in numerous school initiatives. Parents/guardians are welcome to attend these meetings and become involved in the life of the school. Please help support the children in our school by including your voice in the conversation.
