Ways to Get Connected

Families will find many avenues to send and receive information at Auburn Bay School.  We find one communication method will not work for everyone, however there basic communication methods we will all find helpful.

  • School Website – This website is your best source for school information, reports, policies and important dates, as well as information about what's happening in our classes, links to our social media accounts, and news from the CBE.
  • Electronic Agendas & Teacher Blogs – Agenda information will be shared with families on grade team blogs.  Specific information about your child's classroom learning events will be shared.
  • Instagram – Auburn Bay School has instagram account.  The purpose of this account is to share creative and innovative learning with families.  The accounts will be locked and followers will require permission to see the account.
  • School Council - All Auburn Bay parents and guardians are invited to attend the monthly meetings of our school council. The Auburn Bay School Council is comprised of both parents and staff representatives. Our goal is to work together to create a positive learning environment for our children. Through the council, we can strengthen communication between home and school. We discuss and plan for our school’s future. We also support special events.
  • Parent Society - The Auburn Bay Fundraising Society works collaboratively with the School Council.  Highlights, dates and times of future meetings are published on our website.  You can learn more by visiting the Auburn Bay Parent Society Facebook page

RT @yyCBEdu: Reminder Sept. 30 is Orange Shirt Day. It is an opportunity for all people to come together in the spirit of reconciliation. https://t.co/a3lPCx0pwp #WeAreCBE https://t.co/aFYi2TMh50

RT @yyCBEdu: Friday, Sept 25 is a system-wide non-instructional day. There are no in-person or online classes for students. Students in the hub can still access their course materials but teachers are not available to respond to questions. #WeAreCBE #yycbe https://t.co/sVPT78XTW8

Thank you @ABschoolFS for the breakaway lanyards for all of the students to use with their masks! Greatly appreciated by teachers and students! 👏 https://t.co/dqcsPvrbkP

RT @UsihChristopher: We work closely with AHS when dealing with positive COVID cases in our schools. Consistent with their direction, “if a student comes to school while infectious with COVID, our current approach is typically to require that all student’s classmates stay home for 14 days.”#WeAreCBE

RT @UsihChristopher: Important: Parents/guardians are required to assess students daily for symptoms of COVID-19 before the start of the school day using the daily screening questionnaire (checklist), available here: https://t.co/8Ma0f3SY62 Anyone who is experiencing symptoms cannot enter a school. https://t.co/YLWf6mf1iz

RT @albertateachers: Will you be wearing orange on September 30? #OrangeShirtDay #abed https://t.co/pfPftZ5XiT

RT @YourAlberta: To help keep students and school staff safe, public health measures include a screening questionnaire. Parents should go through this questionnaire every morning before class to determine if the child can go to school or needs to stay home: https://t.co/VqOYyq0f04 https://t.co/0WLbkygPOu

RT @yyCBEdu: Students registered for hub online will receive an email by end of day Wednesday with a teacher introduction, info about how and where to log in and more. Check https://t.co/ee2XFbs1qB for more details. #cbehub #yycbe https://t.co/7MiZG7UAE0
