Preparing for High School

International Baccalaureate Program

If your student is interested in attending an IB program for Grade 10, they need to complete an Expression of Interest Form by March 15, 2022.

This form needs to be emailed or mailed to your designated IB school. Please use this link to find your school.

Information For Families

Teachers at Balmoral School will be supporting students and families with high school registration in February 2022.

If your child is designated to attend either John G. Diefenbaker High School, Crescent Heights High School or James Fowler High School, each school offers regular programming as well as different specialized programs. Transfers will only be considered for students who wish to attend a specialized program. Below are the special programs offered by each school, along with links to their information:

If your child is planning to enroll in a regular program, they will attend their designated high school, according to their address. In order to make the best choice for your child and family, please consult the school websites above. This is especially important for those students considering a specialized program, such as IB or AP.
