Grant Funding Revitalizes Our Learning Commons

The learning commons (formerly known as the Library) is the central hub of any school. It should be a place where we can:

• Read and sign out books 
• Hear others read to us 
• View information created within the school and online 
• Work with technology 
• Create with a variety of materials 
• Have many opportunities to explore and learn about the world about us. 

We were fortunate to have received an incredible $35,000 grant through the Education Matters Foundation to undertake and complete a massive transformation. As a staff we attended workshops, planned, purchased and constructed an incredible learning space with this grant. Please make sure you drop into the Learning Commons during your Student Led Conferences to have a look!
