Important Dates

We follow the CBE Traditional Calendar. The calendar sets common start and end days, non-instructional days and holidays. For our school’s additional non-instructional days, late entries, early dismissal days and events, see our school calendar page.

Planning is underway for what the 2020-21 school year will look like for our students, staff and families. The CBE has created an internal task force with representatives from every service unit to lead the planning for different scenarios. All of our decisions will be guided by the advice of the province’s chief medical officer of health and Alberta Education guidelines. The safety and well being of our students and staff will come first in any decisions we make. More information will be provided to families before the first day of classes on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020.

School Calendar

Noon Supervision

Our school provides for the supervision of grade 1-6 students during the lunch hour (12:15-1:03 PM). Note – noon supervision is a 4 day/week program.

For more information visit our Noon Supervision page.

Litterless lunch

Pack it in, pack it out! Students will bring home any garbage, compost or recycling in their lunchbox. Reusable containers are strongly encouraged. This allows supervisors to sanitize desks and classrooms more quickly and effectively. More info to come.

Assigned Teachers

Teachers will contact students on Aug. 28 to welcome them to their class and to note any first-day-of-school procedures (e.g. Meeting places).

Kindergarten classes begin on Sept 1 or Sept 2.
