Dress Code

Students are expected to dress in a way that is appropriate for school and for the weather. Clothing which others might reasonably find offensive, in poor taste or distracting because of its correlation with negative or slang language  is not appropriate to wear at school. As you know, the weather in Calgary is very unpredictable. Students will be outside for many lunch hours and recess times.

Dress for the Weather

Fresh air and time outside is important. Students need to be dressed for the weather each day. Only in severe conditions do we keep students inside at lunchtime. We will go outside each day except when the current weather is colder than -20 degrees celsius. Coats, hats, mittens, umbrellas and appropriate footwear are required for all students every day.

Footwear

Please make sure your child has a pair of indoor shoes to leave at the school.
