​​Students in the Calgary Board of Education travel to school in a variety of ways, including walking, taking yellow buses or Calgary Transit or being driven by parents/guardians. Their safety is important, no matter how they get to school and home again.​​​

Before & After School Care

Children Come First

Children Come First will operate before and after school care for Bowcroft School students – located in the school.

Before Care begins at 7:00 AM
After Care will be offered until 6:00 PM

  • Before and After Care will be $425 per month
  • Before or After Care $475 per month
  • Non-Instructional and PD Days/Breaks (Teacher’s Convention, Spring Break, etc.) will be $30 per day
  • Provincial Subsidies are available
  • Friday early dismissals are included in your monthly fees

Kindergarten Care

Students in the morning Kindergarten program can access care from 7:00-9:00 AM and 11:30-6:00pm

$800 (affordability grant covers $450 for all kindergarten children. Parents portion of the monthly fees are $350)

Children Come First does not operate during the summer months

German Preschool Program

  • Children 3 and 4 years old
  • Tuesday/Thursday Afternoon
  • Saturday Morning
  • Teacher is certified as an early childhood educator and has a four-year education from Germany (Erzieherin).
