Ceremony

When is Grad?

Thursday June 2, 2022. The ceremony and the banquet are the same day.

Where is the Grad Ceremony?

The Graduation Ceremony will be held 9:30 am at The Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.  1415 — 14th Avenue NW. Parking is $7.00.

What time does the Ceremony start?

The Ceremony starts at 9:30 am sharp.  You need to be there and in the line-up by 9:00 am. The lobby doors open at 8:00 am and the theatre doors open at 9:00 am. 

Do I have to pay for tickets for the Ceremony?

No. The cost of the ceremony tickets is included in your $60 Grad Fee. Fees must be paid before tickets can be distributed. If you have not paid your Grad Fees, please do so online at MyCBE: https://sis.cbe.ab.ca/public/home.html

How many Ceremony tickets am I allowed for guests?

All Grads are eligible to receive 5 tickets for guests to attend the ceremony. Please use the link below to fill out the ticket request form:

Requests must be completed by April 14 and Grads will be notified the week of May 16 if additional ticket requests can be accommodated.

Is the Jubilee Auditorium wheelchair accessible?

Yes. The ushers will be able to direct you to the wheelchair accessible seating upon arrival at the theatre. If you require wheelchair seats, please indicate that with your initial ticket request.

Where do I pick up tickets for the Ceremony?

Tickets will be distributed to Grads at the rehearsal during P3 (2:15-3:30) on Tues. May 31 in the BHS gym along with caps and gowns.


Grad 2022 Reception

When – Thursday, June 2, 5:30-7:30pm (the order of events includes speeches and a short dance)

Where - Winsport Markin MacPhail Centre- Arena A

Event - Enjoy free parking, a photo booth and snacks including Charcuterie & Baguette, Artisan Cheeses & Crackers, Veggies & Dip, Fruit, Desserts with a Candy Bar. Complimentary punch, coffee and specialty tea are also available with a ticket.

Tickets  - Ticket purchase ($85 each) is required for both the Grad and each guest. Round 1 of online ticket sales are from April 1 to 31. A limit of three tickets per Grad can be purchased in this round (one for the grad and one more for each guest, up to two guests). Round 2 of online ticket sales are from May 2 to 18.
