Illness & Medical

Attendance Line: 403-777-8470 ext.0

It is important that you call the school if your child is absent or arriving late. Please report all absences to the Attendance Line. For more information, please see our Attendance page.

When a child becomes ill at school, we immediately contact the parent and ask for pick-up. We know that it can be very hard for a parent to simply pick up and leave work. If you have another contact person who could help you out with an emergency, please make sure the office has that information.

Please ensure that you update your demographic and emergency contacts throughout the school year. A simple call to the office will ensure that changes are made.

An absence not reported means time spent by our office staff trying to reach you at one or more of your contact numbers we have on file. Thank you for your cooperation.

Student Health Emergency Response Protocol Form

This form is to be used when there is a student health issue requiring attention. This includes when there is a request to administer medication.

Student Health Plan

This form is to be:

  • completed if a physical or medical condition may affect the student’s attendance at school
  • completed if medication is to be taken at school,
  • reviewed and updated annually or sooner if there is a change in the student’s health concern or school registration.

Allergies

We are a nut aware school, and we request that parents and families refrain from bringing foods with nuts or tree nuts in them. This will support all of our students in case of allergies.

RT @UsihChristopher: Student health is more important than perfect attendance and families are the ultimate decision makers when it comes to whether students attend school or not. If your child will not be attending, please notify the school and the absence will be excused. Thank you!

RT @yyCBEdu: We continue to take direction from @GoAHealth and at this time they have recommended schools remain open. We have updated the FAQs on our websites for parents and staff. https://t.co/irJxWQ3Gyu
