High School Registration

We are now getting ready to start the High School registration process. Students have already received the High School brochure which discusses various programs. On Thursday January 23rd, students will receive their Course Selection sheet for next year. We will have three Guidance Counsellors from William Aberhart High School providing an informational session to all gr.9 students. A Guidance counsellor will also be available at lunch time as a drop in one on one session addressing further questions that students may have.

We will survey students to see if there is a need/desire to have gr.10/11/12 alumni students drop in during the week of the 27th of January to share their experiences at Abe and discuss the challenges of this transition and how they adapted.

On February 6th, we will have the counsellors from Aberhart sit down with each student and proceed with the enrolment based on the course selection sheet. We will ask all students to fill it out even the ones not planning to attend Aberhart just as a back up in case plans were to change.

We would like families to do the following before January 23rd 2020:

  • Have a look at the High School Guide
  • Have a look at the course selection sheet
  • Have a look at the Complementary Course guide
  • Write down some possible questions for the counsellors to be shared on January 23rd

If your child is not attending William Aberhart High School next year, please email Ms. Rustad at

If you any questions please do not hesitate to contact both schools.
