Phone Messages

Students and parents are encouraged to make after school arrangements in advance. It is not always possible to deliver messages in a timely manner and school phones are very busy at dismissal times. Office staff will deliver messages in a way that does not disrupt teaching and learning activities. Telephone calls will be transferred to classrooms only in exceptional situations.

Students are permitted to use classroom and office phones with staff permission and when those calls will not interfere
with the operation of the school.

Contact Information Updates

Please notify the school office immediately with any changes of address, telephone numbers (home, business and/or cell), email address or emergency contact numbers. It is critical that we have a current record of contact information on file so we can reach you or other emergency contacts. Please also be sure to provide us with a current copy of any custody agreements.

Concerns & Complaints

We know that the success of your student is dependent on a strong partnership between families and the CBE. If you have a concern, it can usually be addressed at the classroom level. Your first step is to arrange to speak privately with your child’s teacher. If you feel your issue is still unresolved, please contact your principal. If you and the school are unable to find a resolution, please see our Concerns & Complaints page for additional information, including the process to contact your Area Director.
