Personal Belongings

Please label your child's clothing, such as sweaters, jackets, shoes, boots, hats, mittens and gloves. These, plus food containers, backpacks, lunch kits and boot bags can be returned to their owners when the names are on them. Items are sorted for retrieval in the main halls on occasions when parents come for special events and interviews.

Lost & Found

We accumulate a large collection of lost items over the course of the school year. You are encouraged to check this area for items your child may have forgotten, please ask the office staff for the location of the lost item area. Uncollected Items are packed up and delivered to a charity preceding Winter Break, Spring Break and Summer Break.

Bikes, Skateboards, Rollerblades and Scooters

Children may ride their bicycles to school. However, they must walk their bikes on the school grounds and should be aware of the rules of bicycle safety, including the mandatory use of helmets. Locks must be provided for each bike and the students must use the bike racks on the north east side of the school. The school cannot take responsibility for the security of bicycles on our playground.

According to school board regulations, bikes, skateboards, rollerblades, scooters and heelies cannot be ridden on school property. In the spirit of encouraging active living and lessening car rides to school we permit these ways of getting to school. Classrooms can accommodate storage but cannot be responsible for lost or damaged equipment.

The school will not assume responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen property and school staff will not store those items.
